I think everyone who can use Google can find download for american music by myself and dont need to break rules there. Anyway i dont understand why would like anyone to post american music there when is bww2 asian music forum, isn it? =) Hope I can reply there and i didnt break some rules XD |

i was a generally good kid on the old site... i think that sticking to general mom's rules of minding my p's and q's helped. its kinda sad that so many ppl have to have such simple rules enforced on them. do you think its because its a new medium that ppl think that the rules that apply in real life don't apply on the web? but anyways, point taken. will obey. and i have read the spam rules cuz i was a little bit afraid that i would be a spam offender cuz my general responses are just usually a word of thanks anyways, with some odd rambles about why i want the album (cuz why would i just randomly dl an album without impetus right?). based on the later comments, turns out that the odd rambles are roughly what you had in mind! lolz |

Well, there really is no set, right & wrong definition on what is spamming & what is talking. Talking is more an actual conversation. Maybe you're discussing a new release with someone, or talking about an artist in the artists thread. Posting in the 411s & Rooms are not considered spam on most forums. Traditionally spamming is like the mass posting of useless / irrelevant information aimed to screw up a board or something. Bww2 kind of alters that definition to just mean fast posting. Games generally are considered spam since they go by so fast. But heck, some of the "hardcore spammers" *points to my member title* consider even the 411s & Rooms "spamming" since they can pass by very fast too. When I call myself a "hardcore spammer" i mean it to be "ardent fan of posting fast". Ok so after that "ramble" we get to what bww2 considers punishable spamming. Punishable spamming is going to a conversation thread and posting something completely random & irrelevant. If you go into someone you don't know's 411 and post "lalalalalala" that's considered punishable spam. If you post in an official artist thread "i love fish" that's considered punishable spam. These rules don't really apply in the games section cuz there are random games that take such replies. What bww2 considers the most offensive type of spam is using a spam post in the downloads section to access downloads. Posts like "y a y a y a y a y" are spam & posters will be punished. Copying & pasting of replies is punishable spam. So is repetition of a word - "thanks so so so so so so so so so so so much" - or a smilie "yay e-love e-love e-love e-love e-love e-love e-love e-love e-love " are also punishable I hope that helped instead of confused @____@ |
